The real Foxy

Before he was a cartoon, he was a lost puppy.

Foxy was born in a forest in Thailand and left there on his own. On a hike, Mum and Dad found him, scooped him up and carried him home. Today he's the reading buddy in every Foxy Reads story.

Who Foxy is

Five years old, and full of beans.

Foxy is beautiful, clever and adventurous. He's protective of the people he loves, and every now and then he's a little bit mischievous.

Those are exactly the things he brings to the stories: curiosity, courage, and a big heart for his friends.

His favourite thing

The yellow ball goes everywhere.

Foxy's favourite toy is a yellow ball covered in little dimples. That's why the same ball turns up in every Foxy Reads story, on the moon, at the zoo and even in the time of the dinosaurs.

Look closely in the app: can your child spot it on every page?

Foxy's family

Every story starts with Mum and Dad.

Mum and Dad are the hikers who found Foxy, and Foxy Reads is their way of sharing him with children everywhere. Because Foxy was rescued, 20% of our proceeds from every Foxy Reads sale goes to House of Angels for Stray Animals, a shelter in Saraburi that cares for more than 2,000 rescued dogs and cats.
